Surya and Kamal Haasan will share the Film Fans Association’s Best Actor award for the year 2008. Kamal got the award for his performance in Dasavatharam while Surya won the award for his acclaimed performance in the movie Vaaranam Aayiram.
Simran, Sneha and Trisha won the best actresses award for the year 2008. Subramaniapuram – Sasi Kumar and Swathi won the award for the best new face of the year 2008. K.S Ravikumar won the best director award for Dasavatharam and Oscar Ravichandran won the best Producer award for the same movie.
Siva Kumar and Lakshmi will be honored with the lifetime achievement award. Aishwarya and Prakash Raj won the best character artistes award. The 58th Film Fans Association awards will be handed over to the winners on November 8th at the Kamarajar Arangam in Chennai
