Surya’s Ayan has broken records in Mumbai, the heartland of Bollywood!. Ayan directed by K.V Anand has already become a super hit of the summer in Tamil Nadu and now it’s breaking records in Mumbai. The movie has completed 50 days and still going strong in Mumbai. Ayan has became the third highest grossing Tamil film after Sivaji and Dasavatharam, and still continues to be hot at Mumbai box-office.
“We are amazed by Suriya’s box-office pull, especially among the youth and lady audiences. In recent time no regional film has done so well in the Mumbai territory as Ayan. And what is even more surprising is that there are a lot of Hindi speaking audiences who have shown an interest in the film,” says Nambi Rajan of Aurora theatre, who is also the distributor of the film.
