Kollywood’s biggest Box office hit team of recent time is back once again. Blockbuster movie Ayan team of Surya and KV Anand are coming together once again for a new action adventure produced by AGS Entertainment.
The rest of the cast, crew and technicians of the movie are being finalized as the film shooting would start from February 2011.
Like his previous movies Irumbu Kottai Murattu Singam and the recent hit Madharsapattinam, Kalpathi Agoram is planning to make this untitled movie in a huge budget. This has already created huge expectations among Surya fans.

Hai Surya Fans… Surya ’s Singam has released today worldwide in a grand manner. In USA alone Singam is being released in more than 30 screens across 24 locations, making it as the biggest ever release of a Tamil film in USA
“Singam’ is produced by K.E. Gnyanavel Rajan under the banner name of Studio Green Films and is directed by Hari, who earlier directed Surya in “Aaru’ and “Vel’. Surya pairs up with Anushka in the film while Prakash Raj takes on the villain role.
Musical score by Devi Sri Prasad is already topping the charts and the songs are visual treat to all fans with mesmerizing Surya dance.
“Singam, is a family entertainer with the right mix of action, fun, romance, sentiments and glamour.

Surya’s much expected movie Singam is expected to release on May 28th. Sun Pictures who have earlier acquired the movie rights planned to release the movie on June 4th. But now they have preponed Singam movie release to May 28 as per trade sources.
Sun Pictures wants to release the film before the holiday season ends. Most Schools and colleges reopen after summer holidays on June1. Surya and Shruti Haasan is all set to take off soon to China for two Song Sequences in their upcoming untitled movie. As per sources the entire unit of the film will fly down to China where the first schedule of the movie will begin.
This untitled film is being directed by AR Murugadoss, who has earlier made a super hit film Ghajini with Surya. The film’s title is expected to be announced soon.

Surya’s Vaaranam Aayiram has won Best Popular Tamil Movie award at the 56th National Film Awards. Vaaranam Aayiram was directed by Gautham Menon in which Surya acted in dual lead roles, whilst Sameera Reddy, Divya Spandana and Simran Bagga played female lead roles in the film.
Vaaranam Aayiram illustrates the theme of how a father often came across his son’s life as a hero and inspiration, whose death was deeply mourned in the end. As a tribute to the father of the director, the film opened in several countries with critical acclaim for director Gautham Menon and Surya’s performance. The movie musical score was done by Harris Jayaraj and it was huge hit of the year 2008.
